If you are confused, you came to the right place!
"This thread covers how to save your screen, aka printing your screen, uploading images, subscribing to threads, and cropping an image."
Subscribing to a thread
You can subscribe to almost every thread, unless it was different. Make note, subscribing to threads is FREE, no payments necessary!! At the top of a thread, there is a button that says thread tools.
Click on it. Then another pop up will open.
Click on the bottom one unless you want to email a thread... You will then be taken to another page about subscribing. Click on the subscribe button. You will return to the page you were at. I dare you to subscribe to this thread...
Printing your screen
Printing your screen is easy!
On the keyboard there is a print screen button. (Prt Scrn)
After you have taken your picture, open up your photo editing program. Such as paint, adobe photoshop, etc. Then click paste. Crop as you wish and save.
Macs:Switch to the screen that you wan to to do a screen capture on. Hold down Apple key + Shift + 4 and release all keys. Now, You will see the mouse cursor will change to a + sign. You can start to drag your mouse to select the portion you wish to capture. Once finished, you will see a picture file in at your desktop. That’s the screen capture picture!
Cropping an image
Using your photo editing program, you can crop you picture!
In photoshop, you can zoom in by right clicking and clicking the zoom in button. Then hit the crop button and select what you want. Then press crop again and save.
Most people didn't know this. In paint, there is a little blue button in the corner of each picture.
You can use that to crop.
Do you see it? You can zoom in to get the crop perfect. Pixel by pixel.
If you double click on the picture you want, it will usually open a program called picture viewer. You can crop there by going up to the top of the screen and finding crop under edit.
Uploading an image
Here is where it gets difficult. There are many FREE image uploading services out there, but my favorite is tinypic.com There are others such as imageshack.com, but are more confusing.
Here is what tinypic.com looks like. Go check it out. Click on browse and find the picture you want, where ever you saved it. Then add tags. Tags are little references that help you find your pictures easier. Especially if you have lots of them. Once you have uploaded the picture there is a list of things you can do.
For this website, Webkinz Insider, the IMG Code for Forums and Message boards is most appropriate. Then copy the code and paste onto a post or thread. It is as easy as that!
Please do not give out your email address.
Please do not ask for payment of any type.
