Re: So, Your Webkinz Wants a Collar (How-to IMAGE HEAVY!)
Well since I have a bunch of wire working tools I make real metal pieces for my collars, The hardest collar I made wasn't for a Webkinz but was actually for a miniature dog about 1 1/2 to 2inches tall! Working with the ribbon and the metal pieces was so time consuming and frustrating lol The ribbon I used was the size of the smallest ribbon in the tutorial so it was really hard to handle
My favorite collar, though, that I have made was for a friend's Webkinz. I made a two-tone gold & burgundy ribbon collar with a matching key hanging with the tag and a metal heart ribbon slider. It turned out very modern and romantic all together... I guess kinda steampunkish.
As far as pictures... I won't have access to either pet collar for awhile. But really, the only difference with the collar in the tutorial and those collars is really just ribbon colors and that they have metal parts instead of just ribbon and paper (oh and of course one is much smaller!) But there isn't really too much difference otherwise.
