Question Safe way to wash a Webbie?

Does anyone know the safest way to wash a Webkinz plush without messing up the texture of the fur? I like my Webkinz and how they look, and I don't want them to change because they need to be cleaned

I took a little container, soap, and I put in in the water, then I gently washed it with the soap. I have found that is the best way. It looks pretty much the same

Hi there-
I don't know if this is the safest was out there, but it's what we've done with no harmful effects.

I've filled my sink with warm water and dunked the webbie needing cleaning. Gentely squeeze the excess water out right away. Use a few drops of Dawn dish detergent and lather it up in your hands first, then rub in circular motions all over your webbie until the top "fur" is all lathered up.

Dunk him into the water again, gentely squeeze, and repeat until all the detergent is removed.
Sit your webbie in his/her "natural" position to dry, using a clean cloth or pillow to support it if necessary. It'll take a few hours to air dry.

This has worked great for our webbies. I've a younger son who's had an accident in the bed while sleeping, and his webbie got very yucky. Using the washing precedure it came out smelling wonderful and looked brand new! But we definately had to prop the head up while drying because it was so much heavier than the body.

Good luck, and I hope this helps.
