| | Safari Guide to refreshing
I am a Mac user and I use Safari. This is great for me-- Safari is the best browser for a
Mac-- but for me, pressing F5 does not refresh the page, but rather makes an annoying "doink" noise whenever I try to use it. If you use Safari and Webkinz World freezes up, use this guide.
So, let's say you have logged in and got frozen on the green screen. At the top of the screen (not the window) there will be a bar that stretches across the top of the screen. Go up there and click "View". From the "View" menu, click "Show Toolbar". This should open the URL bar. Within this bar you should see the "Back" button, the "Refresh" button, the URL box, and sometimes the Google search box. Click "Refresh", a little circling arrow. If you do not have this, right click on the URL box. Go down to "Customize Toolbar", and a window should pop out of the toolbar. Under "...Or drag the default set," there will be a default toolbar. Click a hold that image. Drag it up to the Toolbar. Click "Done". Click "Refresh". There you have it! It seems very complicated, but it only takes about two minutes!
