Default Question about WI.

Hello, I am AshleyxWebkinzz. I have been a Webkinz Insider member since May 2008, but I just started coming on in August 2008.
I still have many questions, but there's one that many people talk about.

This question is about Rep Points.
No, this is not a cry for attention, and I'm not begging for them.
Okay, so I've given a few to posts that I think was helpful, informative, and made a good point.
But..

What does a rep point really do???
Does it help you become a trusted member. I've heard they're supposed to be good, but I've never really understood that.
Anyone care to explain?

Thanks,
AshleyxWebkinzz

Default Re: Question about WI.

A rep point isn't important as you see it. It is similar to a warm fuzzy or "congrats" post. They are nice to have and generally mean you help out in WI and are noticed for it. Even if you don't get a rep point for great posts, it doesn't mean you aren't helping the environment here. But to answer your question a rep point makes someone feel good and important. At least it makes me feel that way. It is a good way to spread knowledge and kindness throughout WI. Giving rep points is so nice. I try to do it at least once a day to someone who i feel has helped out. I think I will give you a rep point for being considerate and asking a good question. Have fun in WebkinzInsider!

Thanks for the help!
I'm glad to see rep points in the point of view. I never really knew what they were all about.
