Kayeray 43 Webkinz and Lil Kinz (4 Lil Kinz) I too have stayed on the phone, internet and traveled out of state to stores that will not ship just to obtain my webkinz. I still refuse to pay an outrageous price for the cheeky cat or cheeky dog. They will just have to not be a part of my webkinz family. (
I'm just voicing my opinion, not trying to burst your bubble, but if webkinz were so much easier to find, wouldn't it ruin the magic of finally obtaining one? I understand that collectors and store-clerk ebayers are the antagonists, who make the hunt so much harder, but think of a world where everyone had all the same webkinz... it would be so boring!
Plus, I LOVE tracking down the little guys in near-by stores (and by near-by i mean 50 minutes away) and mapping out the patterns of the shipping, etc. It's like a treasure hunt! And the reward: A cute fuzzy friend that everyone's having a hard time to find, right in your hands. If they were so readily available, I think the webkinz world would crash. Not even to mention all the new comers -- the servers may not be able to hold up. Nor the staff. Look what happened to neopets.
