| | The perfect guide on how to make the perfect thread!
This thread is for all you people, dogs, cats, aliens, whatever you are on making the PERFECT THREAD!
So here we go!
1. Make a thread that everyone would like to read!
Make sure that boys, girls, people of different religions, can read the thread so you include EVERYONE!
2. Make threads that are important!
Most people ignore threads like : Do you like cheese pizza or pepporoni pizza?
People usually make those threads because they're bored but if you're bored just find other threads to post on!
3. Include a warm welcoming!
Pretty much all people like to be greeted. It just takes a couple of keys to be pushed in saying hello!
4. Try not to use chat speak!
There are younger people and older people on WI. Not everyone understands "LOL!" so let everyone understand!
5. Use a specific title!
If you make a thread for getting a new webkinz or something like that don't put
"I got..." put something like "I got a new webbie!" or "Check out my new webkinz!" because then people don't know what the thread will be about!
6. Never post personal information!
Personal information is your business and your business only! Nobody needs to know anything about you except maybe your name!
7. Never offer rep points to first person who posts or something like that!
If you offer rep points people are most likely just going to come for the rep! So be true to yourself and let people come because they are interested not because they want reps!
8. Use color or pictures!
Colors and pictures always appeal to the eye somehow and will probably grab more people's attention!
9. Add humor or be playful!
When making a thread don't always be serious, serious, serious! Be playful or humorous and that will encourage more people to come to your thread!
10. When making a avvie/siggie shop try to have maybe a waiting list!
Having a waiting list is convenient for you AND the customers! That way your customers have an idea of when their order will be done and you will know what orders you have to do!
11. When making a club post your members on the first post!
This way other members know who's in the club and who's not!
12. When making a contest always be specific about what the contest is about!
If you are specific, members don't have to wonder "Did they want this or this?" or something like that!
If anyone has any other points to add on just post!
