Default lilshrimp888's Guide to sketching and coloring

Hi, I was bored so I decided to make this guide on sketching and coloring!!

SKETCHING
1-Keep your lines short and light. And I mean VERY light, do NOT draw dark, because then you won't be able to erase very well when you make a mistake
2- when you draw anything shiny like fruit or a ball, draw an oval in the corner, look at the fruit on my first example drawing and you should be able to see what I mean.
3-when you draw a tree, first draw the trunk, then draw 'base' branches, then put littler branches coming from them, for the leaves draw different shades of green, if you're doing a fall tree, user fall colors such as oranges, yellows, browns, and reds, if you're doing a winter scene don't use any leaves, if you're drawing a spring scene, I recommend adding fruits or something.
4-Different people have different ideas for drawing. I like to draw close-ups, some people might like to draw scenes, and some might like to draw people.
5-TAKE YOUR TIME

COLORING
1-Obviously, color inside the lines. to do that, I suggest coloring in the middle, then going a lot slower next to the outlines.
2-Blend your colors well, if you're blending two different colors, put the darker shade first, then the lighter one(s)
3-Use realistice colors when drawing something from real life. For example, don't make a blue cat with green stripes, or and orange person with purple polka-dots!

I hope my guide helps some people, thanks for reading!!

heehee. I usually make mine in school during study hall or something when I have no homework. I usually bring my drawing pad to a lot of classes.
