Smile How to take a screen shot on linux (Ubuntu), How to get the screen shot button on top bar on linux (Ubuntu), and how to edit pictures/screen shots on linux (Ubuntu)

Taking a screen shot on Linux (Ubuntu) is simple.
1. Go to applications at the bottom of the screen.
2. Go under accessories.
3. Now you should see screenshot with a picture of a camera next to it.
4. Click on screenshot to take a screen shot of whatever is on the screen.
5. Choose a folder where you want the picture to be put at and type in what you want as the name.
6.Now you have a screen shot stored away in a folder.

But say you don't want to do all the steps to find the screen shot button. Here is how you you get the screen shot button on the top bar for Linux (Ubuntu).

1.Right click the top bar.
2. Click add new item.
3. Find Screenshot and click on it.
4. Click add.
5. Now you should have a easier way to take a screen shot.

Now you say you want to crop or edit you picture well follow these steps and your on your way.
1. Go to applications.
2. Click Graphics.
3. Now Click GIMP Image editor.
4. After it loads up 3 windows will come up and they will say.
-Toolbox
-Layers, Channels, Paths, and Hitory.
-GNU Image Manipulation Program
5. Click file and choose where to open your picture and also you can take a screen shot directly to image editor under file.
