How to sip hot cocoa...using your candy cane as a straw!
1 Candy Cane
1 Mug. Hot Cocoa
1 Set of Teeth
Here I will teach you how to sip hot cocoa (or whatever liquid you prefer) through your candy cane, which will act as your straw. See the picture below.
Note that the blue indicates where the candy cane is hollow (though not quite so thick!).
See that the lines stop just before the actual ends of the candy cane.
Now look at the end of your candy cane. Perfectly normal right? But now bite off the end of the bottom, and also get rid of the U shape on top. Look closely:
See the nearly microscopic holes? Now hold one end to your mouth and breathe air in through it. Feel the air coming through?
Finally, stick one end in your hot cocoa, and with the other, take a sip. Ta-da! You may now begin sipping your hot cocoa using your candy cane as a straw. The opening inside should get bigger as you sip. Note that the cocoa should become significantly de-sweetened by this process. Adding marshmallows is recommended.
Thanks, Merry Christmas and God bless you!
DISCLAIMER: I do not own these images. The blue was added in by me.
