Those are great tips, Lilypad. To add to your example, FYI, any form of a word likely to be found in a dictionary or phone book (common names especially) increases your risk of being hacked, because there are lots of hacker programs out there with built-in hacks to try those character strings first. But using your example of adding numbers to the word and breaking it up with caps is helpful. To kick it up yet another notch, this example, which varies the spelling as well as uses zeros in place of the o's is even better. To help you remember how you varied it, you could be consistent with certain symbols, like using the ! in place of "L," zero in place of o, @ in place of the a sound, 8 in place of the "ate" sound, z in place of s, etc. For help in remembering numbers, try using numbers that are familiar or personal, but vary them up a little bit. For example, if your birthday is June 15, 1976 and you wanted to use a form of that, then here is what you could do with your lollipop password:

L0lleP0pzJun15'76

Here are some other examples using that concept:

Me'nJustn4vrx0x0x0

ClassUv'08Rox!

Acronyms are another way to create a difficult-to-hack password that is easy to remember, such as:

Born in the USA June 3, 1978 = BitUS@Jun3'78

Or a phrase like "waiting to be dating" could become W8n2bD8n

Get creative. Protect yourself!

Great idea for a thread!
