How to make the ♥ on a Mac (and many more symbols! pics included)
Have you always felt left out because you can't make a heart symbol because you have a Mac? Well stop crying and pay attention! This is a step-by-step guide on how to make the ♥ and many other symbols on a Mac!
Step One: Click on the typing space like you are about to type.
Step Two: Go to edit on the top bar and click Special Characters.
HINT: instead of going to edit-special characters, just click the option key, the command key, and the t key all at the same time!
Step Three: Once you finish step two, the Character Palette should pop up. Click the little triangle next to the bar that says "Symbols". A whole list should show up.
Step Four: In the list under "Symbols" (shown above), click "Miscellaneous Symbols". A ton of little pictures should show up on the right.
Step Five: The heart symbol might be visible to you but another way to find it is to click the little search box at the bottom of the page. Type in heart and press the "return" button on the keyboard.A little box should show up with a ton of heart symbols in it.
Step Six: Once you found the symbol you want, click the insert button at the bottom right-hand corner.
