How to make a Fading Animation on Photoshop CS3. (:
Before you make these, try to make them small. Not to small,
but medium. Thanks!
[[note, this can be a signature or an avatar(;]]
Open up Photoshop [Any kind]
Go to File>New>900X400
Get your Text Tool,Located at your tool box.
Type in the text you DON'T WANT TO BE FADED.
Now, make a NEW LAYER
On the New Layer, type the text you WANT TO BE FADED.
Now, your layers box should have 2 boxes.
One for the text you WANT TO BE FADED
and the text you DON'T WANT TO BE FADED.
Now, time to make your animation! [YAY! xD]
Okay, now click the Eye on the text you WANT TO BE FADED. Now, you will no longer see the eye on the text you want to be faded.
Now go to Window>Animation Okay, now the Animation Box should pop out.
Okay, do you see the box with a blue outline around it?
Well, that is the Layer of the text that is Not going to be Faded.
Now, click the Little layer box on the ANIMATION box.
Okay, a second box should show up, that is the Duplicate of the First Box.
Now go to your Layers Box, then Click the little box of the Layer
of the Text you want to be faded.
The little eye should Re-Appear.
Now go back to your Animation Box and on your Keyboard,
Click "Ctrl" "Alt" "Click" At the Animation Frames.
Click=Click with your Mouse.
Now, both should be Selected.
KEEP BOTH SELECTED!!!!
At the bottom of the Animation Frames, do you see the
"0 sec"? Well click the little arrow and a box should show up, click
Now, once you do that, both should have "0.1 Seconds"
Click the first frame, then click the "Tween Button"
A box should show up, click "Last Frame"
Do the same for the Second Frame, but instead of
"Last frame" click "Previous Frame" [IF YOU CAN'T FIND THE SECOND FRAME,IT'S THE VERY LAST ONE]
Now, go back to the very first frame and Click the Tween Button
Choose "Last Frame"
Click the "Play Button"
To look at your final result.
Now time to save it! Go to File>Save for Web & Devices
Name it, SAVE AS GIF!
Here is mine: My result came out odd, xD [REMEMBER, TRY TO MAKE THE TEXT SIZE MEDIUM. NOT TO BIG OR IT WON'T WORK AS A SIGGY]
Thanks for reading!
Post your results!
And PLEASE ask if you need help!
