How to make a dotted border on GIMP (for toothpick95)!
First, where to get GIMP. So yeah, if you don't already have GIMP, here is where to get it: GIMP - Downloads (Choose the English one, of course)
Then, Open it up. If you don't know how to do this, It should be in the programs section.
Then when you see the word GIMP, go to the arrow next to it, and choose the actual program of course. (Which should say GIMP2 with a fox icon)
After that, follow these steps. So most importantly, follow these very important steps.
You want to click the pencil icon, which is next to the brushes. After that is done, refer to this guide, I will follow a lot of steps from it: http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/...D-gimp-673808/
OK, So now you want to bring down your scale to 0.10. Make sure to keep the opacity at 100.0 & everything else the same too! < IMPORTANT. After you have done that, border it on your image, putting little space between each dot to make it a dotted border. BUT REMEMBER, to add a layer everytime you add one dot. It may take-awhile but you will be happy in the end.
After you have done each dot, and you are happy with each dot, follow these steps from that guide I referred to up their ^^. Here is a quote from it. THIS IS THE LAST STEP, AND VERY VERY IMPORTANT.
Once you're done.. Save your image as a .gif
IT WON'T WORK IF YOU DON'T SAVE IT AS A GIF.
Once you press "Save," a window will pop up. Make sure your settings are like mine:
Then press "Export." Another window will pop up. Make sure your settings are like mine:
Now you're done! Need more help? Feel free to ask! Thanks so much for reading :] Thanks so much for reading this guide, and let me know if it helped.
