How to make a BLINKING avatar **Pictures included**
To start off, I'd like to say that this is just a little fun guide for doing a little fun graphic. XD
Have you ever wanted to make an image BLINK or WINK? You can now. :]
It's pretty cool, right?
First, let's find an image and save it. We're going to use this picture for the example:
We're going to over a few things with saving and uploading.
-To save the image, right click it and select "save picture as".
-Save it with a name relevant to the picture. In this case, we will title it "Robert_Pattinson".
Now we can upload it to MyTheme, as some call Lunapic. http://www.blibs.com/editor/ -We're going to find the image that we saved as Robert_Pattinson and double click it. -Now click Upload Now, right next to the Browse button.
Now that we have gotten past the easy parts, we're ready for some editing!
At the top menu bar scroll your cursor over "Draw" and then click "Cosmetic Surgery". [XD]
-Once there, select the arrow and, from the dropdown list, click "Reduce in size Extreme".
-Select one of the eyes with the red box and click "Do Operation". Try to select the smallest area that you can.
**PLEASE NOTE, the result WILL look...unusual. XD**
Now we can save that! Go to the left side bar and click the save button. It's best to save it as a .bmp. It's best to name it something relevant to the image. We'll do Robert_Pattinson_Wink.
Now go to the homepage. Don't worry, you didn't lost your image, you already saved it. XD
Now, click the animation button.
Remember how to upload images? If so, great! If not, don't worry- just scroll up to the top of the guide. You're going to upload TWO images this time- the original and the wink one.
It WILL look wierd at first, so all you have to do is go to the top menu bar and scroll over "Animation". Then click "Frame Timing". Once there, set the timing for how long you want each image to show for. I think 100 for the first and 20 for the second is good.
Press "Set Timing" and you're done! Now you can save it like you did with the others although as a .GIF this time. You can then upload it to tinypic, imageshack, photobucket, anything! You can also resize it as an avatar if you want.
