Default How To: Make A Blend Sig Using Paint.NET

I just made this for someone, and decided to post it here.

(if you can't read the text)

1) First, take some images that look alike. Images from the same photo shoot are the best. Try to use 2-3.

2)Resize and arrange your images. To resize them properly, make a new document with the image. Go to Image, then Resize. Set the width to around 200 pixels. Press Ctrl+A, then copy. Paste this into your sig-in-progress. Just make sure you paste each image in its own separate layer. To do this, just click on this before pasting your images.

3) Cut the backgrounds out from all of the images using this tool. Make sure all excess is off, and that you didn't cut anything that is part of the image.

4)Arrange your images so no cut-off edges are showing. Create a new layer, then move it to the botton by clicking on this until it is at the bottom. Fill with any color you want using this tool. You may want to crop the image. Make a selection with the rectangular selsction tool. Then, go to Image, then Crop to Selection.

5) Add text. You're done!

The tutorial:
Click the image to open in full size.
(if anyone wants a non-animated version of the tutorial, feel free to ask. )

If you made something with this, please do show me. I'd love to see your work!

Correction: It should be Set the height to around 200 pixels, not width.

That's really interesting... how unfortunate that I don't have Paint.Net. Still, that's really cool! Thank you so much for the information!

One frame looks like PSE, not Paint.NET..? Otherwise, nice tutorial.

Yeah. I just used PSE in the first frame so you could see all 3 images better. Has nothing to do with the tutorial.
