Hello! Welcome to my guide no how to make an animated picture.
I have been asked many times "How do you make an animation?" So here is how.
First off, I would like to note that I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0, so you may or may not be able to make an animated image. If you use Photoshop, the technique shouldn't vary too much. If, however, you only have paint, you can't do it. There are other systems to make animations, but I will only cover photoshop, because with free websites the generally have a detailed tutorial already.
Photoshop Way: First, prepare the image that you want to animate. (Optional step; only if you want it to be the same basic image with some slight changes.) On the lower right corner you should see the image above. Drag your image (it is highlighted with blue, and, in my case, says Rainbow) to the icon with the red square around it. If you can't see the image above, then click "Windows" at the top of the screen, and make sure that "Layers" has a check mark by it. Make whatever change you want to make to the image and repeat this step, and the one above as much as you want. Once you are satisfied with what you have made click "File" and then "Save for web" or hit "alt" "shift" "ctrl" and "s" all at the same time. Check the "Animation" box; from here you could click "OK" but, you could personalize it further by changing the amount of time it displays each frame at the very bottom. There is my finished picture.
Feel free to ask questions, here, on my profile, or through PM. I hope you have fun making animations.
