Default How to: Link to another site via image in a signature

I have seen many people ask this question lately, so here's a quick guide. This forum is a bit different than most, since it does not allow you to direct link to an image in your signature.

Here's an easy way to do it:

1. You do not have to upload the image to a hosting site such as photobucket or tinypic because you can simply upload it from your hard drive.

2. Go to the edit signature page. Scroll all the way to the bottom and you will see the form to upload your image.

Click on browse (if you do not have the link to the image) and it will bring up the window to choose it.

Click the image to open in full size.

3. Once you have the image uploaded, click on the link that says Insert Signature Picture.

Click the image to open in full size.

4. Make your signature text look identical to this below. You MUST place the url tags before and after BOTH sigpic tags. It will NOT work if you do not add the quotes around the website link. (I used my personal site as an example).

Click the image to open in full size.

5. Save your signature. You will now have an image that people can click on to access whichever site you choose!

Hope this helps. <3

Just like that last picture, only the link to your ipod club thread will be in the quotes instead of "http://www.e-lusively.com". Then you will place the sigpic tags between there..

Just follow the image exactly.

Copy word for word what I wrote in that last image I posted (the notepad image). That is your link to your thread and everything; all you have to do is copy that exactly and put it in your signature.
