Default How to express your opinion respectfully.

I like to think I express my opinions respectfully, and I think that some people need a few tips. and they might not even realize it. Here are my little tips to express your opinions respectfully.

1. Start with a good, calm opening:

I do not agree because _______
I think ________

2. Use good words

Don't say things like "Hate" or "Stupid" or "Dumb" Say things like "dislike" or "do not have a taste for" or maybe, just something as "not my thing"

3.Say something like: "Even though I do not agree, I respect and value your opinion, and am glad that you shared."

Another thing, that does not directly deal with expressing your opinions, is not to get to easily offended.

When reading something in you head, always imagine them saying it in a calm tone.
Assume that if they say "no offense" or "not to be rude" that they actually mean it.

I hope this maybe helped, even a little bit. If you feel something needs to be added or changed, please post your thoughts.
