Thanks for all these tips! So far I haven't gotten any of my webbies dirty but I have an old stuffed animal from many years ago that is precious to me that I will try these on.
Does anyone have any tips for what type of brush to use so you don't harm the webbies' fur?
All brushes will be fine. They are just used to get the tangles out of your webkinz hair. Maybe the best to use if the fur is wet would be those brushes with beads on the end of those sticks. Sorry, I don't know what they are called.
If you put them in clean water, yup! My hippo smelled fine.
I believe they are okay. Maybe the ones with the shorter fur. For example if you have a Hope hamster or another hamster with that short fur. I don't know about ones with longer fur such as Petunia and Spooky.
Once I washed my brother's hamster (A willow mazin Hamster) which is long furred. I washed it in water, smoothed out its fur, and then let it dry in the sun. It turned out great!
COOL! Hey, do these methods leave your Webkinz' fur UNALTERED after he/she dries? Because every bathing/drying method I know usually makes their fur different, if not ruined.
But, you know what? It's just out of curiosity, not criticism. I think you did a good job on this thread, taking the time (or discovering piece by piece out of life) to find the best drying methods for wet Webkinz. GOOD JOB and GOD BLESS YOU!
