Default How to cope with moving away from your friends.(A guide for every WebkinzInsider member)

I know how hard it is to move away from your friends. Its not the end of the world. You will always be friends no matter what. It does not matter how far you move away either.

Make your last days at school count!

Ex.Make tye dye shirts after school, sit by them in homeroom, talk to them all day, just stay in contact with them.

Call as much as you can.

Make sure to get their number before you leave, unless you already have it,and call when you want, and can..But don't annoy their parents by calling every 2 seconds.

Never forget to visit.

If you move far, visit 1 or 2 times a month, even more if you can.Make sure before you leave to visit that they will be home, and you won't be interrupting family time.

Start over and meet new friends but still keep old ones.

at your new school, make some friends there, but keep your old friends from your old school, remember, the first words of a friendship are "Hello,My name is _______".

Keep in touch via social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Myspace etc.)

try to get your parents to call your other friends parents, and work something out between you on a social networking site.Remember, dont accept or add anyone you dont know!

If your friend gets mad at you give them time... then talk about it.
Don't lose hope and void them out of your life.
Keep the same relationship even though it's hard.
Don't blame your parents they probably moved for the best.
Remember it's okay to make new friends.

Hope I helped you all! If you want more guides or advice, just ask.

I think moving away from my friends was one of the best things that ever.. no wait.. maybe THE best thing that ever happened to me.

Most of them are drug and (cant mention here) addicts now... and we're not really that old.. they have also changed. I went to visit my old home last year.. and I was ditched so many times. it tells a lot about how people can change.

I moved away from my BFF's, it was miserable. I hate my school now, and I wish everyday that I could move back.

It is so nice that people can keep in touch through the internet now. It is always a rough transition when people move and sometimes you grow apart and sometimes you grow separately but always feel like friends. I have friends that I have lived away from for years now and when we meet up, which isn't often, we still have fun and are still able to be friends and it feels the same as before. I've learned that even though you move, you make new friends and the friends that you keep after the move are the really important ones.

Great guide!

I've had to move away from the place I've lived for around 11 years, and it was pretty tough. Luckily, I didn't move very far so it's easy for me to keep in touch. Plus, I made a lot of great new friends at my new school. (:
