Welcome to WI. Please take the time to ensure you don't repetatively write/call reporting about the same items again and again. That tends to add to the number of calls and e-mails they have to review for the same issue, and really slows things down.

NOTICE: The Webkinz Director at Ganz make all the rules and final decisions. The customer service representative you speak to can only follow/enforce them or lose their job for not doing so. Please understand they really are sorry, but they still have to follow the rules.

Please remember that at the current time, they are no longer replacing lost items. If you have lost an item, your best chance it to accept the KC replacement for it.

The first and most recomended method is to contact them via their Website.


If the information you need cannot be found there, you should then either write them at Support@Webkinz.com or call them at 1-800-Webkinz (932-5467) and leave them the information below. (I know it says there is no way to leave a message, but there is, just wait it out...)

The account you are having problems with:

A phone number you can be reached at:
A brief discription of the problem:

The second is to wait at least 48hrs. (Please remember they are very backed up right now, and times of 5 to 7 days for a return call are sadly all too common right now...)

If the above recommended options don't work, then may I suggest the following.

In the USA call
1-800-724-5902

In Canada call
1-800-263-2311

When the phone recording starts, press 4

Next enter the code 6848 to reach the Webkinz Support answering system so a Work Order may be entered on your claim.

Might I also suggest going HERE and writing a letter to the address listed for your country. It is very possible you could get a lovely letter witrh a special thank-you.

We got a partial thank-you from them... Thanks to the USPS for opening our letter for us so the contents would come out and also for taking 21 days to deliver it first class.

If all else fails or you feel that your problem warrants immediate attention before everyone else who is waiting their turn, then you may do the following...

If you 'have' to talk to someone then instead of pressing 4, you may listen to the options and select operator. When the operator comes on, ask them to connect you to (pick one) Adrianne (sp?), Amanda, Jason, or Lisa. (Everyone says they have their favorite, but they are all great and will work with you in everyway possible to get this resolved.) I do not know if there are other people there, but anyone at Webkinz Support is VERY nice and understanding. (The best time to get ahold of them is on a Monday after they have relaxed and refreshed over the week-end. )

If you get a call back when you are not home or able to answer it, I would suggest using the extention they give you to call them back any day but Friday... After a whole week of us, they are only human and they are looking forward to the week-end too.

[Notice] If some one slips you the extention of one of the people behind the scenes, I would recomend you not call it until they call you first.

(Discalimer: If you REALLY absolutely have to talk to someone tomorrow call GANZ at one of the numbers listed above and wait for the operator then ask for one of the people listed directly and then you will be transfered to their personal line or message center. )

I was told not to post that info on any forums. I was so thrilled to get my missing items back that I never dreamed of posting phone numbers and names. It's nice that you did, there are lots of WW members who need help restoring their items.

Just remember this is a General Guideline. It is only intended to make it easier to get all the information in one place. I actually had to spend a few hours looking up the first bits of information, after that it was almost a walk in the park... THEN Christmas hit and nothing has been easy since...

Thanks for the information. However, it is still hard to get in touch with them since they almost always send a reply saying the e-mail I sent them was blank.

Sadly they are so backed up... It got really bad around Christmas, and now there are so many new Webkinz things out there (SUDDENLY) that the poor guys in the Webkinz Support Offices are completely swamped... Don't be too surprised if what should only be 48 hrs turns out to be 5 or more days...
