| | The guide to grooming your webkinz plush.
Here is a guide to cleaning and grooming your webkinz plush. Ganz says to wash your pet by taking a washcloth getting it damp, putting baby soap on it and rubbing it on your pet then softly rinsing it and drying it. But what if you do not have baby soap or it does not work? Here are a few ideas:
1. To make your webkinz plush smell good without washing them, simple set them by a candle with no flame burning. Your plush will slowly take in the smell
2. Another way to make them smell good without using water is to simply put them in a clean trash bag with baking soda (the amount of baking soda needed depends on how many webkinz.) close the bag, and shake.
3.I figured out a way to clean your pet if you can't use baby soap. Simply take Ivory soap (that is the only one that I know of that works) shave it with a plastic knife into a plastic container (not much is needed) then take a washcloth and get it DAMP. Rub the damp washcloth over your pet to get it a little wet, take a little bit of shavings (VERY LITTLE) and sprinkle it all over your pet's body. Take your damp washcloth again and wipe it off. Please note: Use GANZ's way before this way. I'm not completely sure my idea works.
4. Gently and sparingly spray webkinz perfume all over your plush, usualy one spray will do.
5. To comb out frizzled hair, mix 5 parts water 1 part conditioner in a spray bottle, spray generously on your plush, comb out hair with brush then follow with comb. Dry hair with hair dryer on lowest setting.
I hope this works for anyone looking to give their pet a day at the spa!
