Ok everyone I can explain this to you better. I just got off the phone with Ganz because of this issue. It's not a glitch it's just the way the game works.
Lets say you get all the way to level 6. Then Doug ask you for a certain gem or gems and you don't have them. Well when you don't have a gem you get moved back a level, so now you are level 5.
Now lets say the next day you go see Doug and you have the gems he wants, he gives you kinz cash and moves you up a level, so now you are back at level six and if you have the gems Doug wants the next day you will move up to level seven and get a prize.
Heres why this is really stupid in my opinion. Lets say you go 3 days without having the gems he wants, now you are at level 3 from 6. This means the next 3 times you see Doug, if you have the gems he wants, you will only get kinz cash. So this makes it almost impossible to get to the last level unless you have a lot of gems saved up. Seriously you could be stuck on the same level for weeks if every other day you don't have the gems Doug wants.
So heres what the guy at Ganz told me. "Make sure you have a lot of gems saved up before you go see Doug and when you get near the end, make sure you have a lot of rare gems saved up, because the higher you get the more rare the gems he wants." So I said, "I guess I should just stop playing for a year until I have gems saved up and he basically said yes by telling me "NO, but just make sure you have a lot of gems saved before you visit him again"
I personally think that we should all just stop playing the Doug game until we have 6 months of gems saved up. Maybe when they see that no one is playing the game because of how it works they will stop moving you down a level. I'm at the point where I won't be playing it for a while now anyways, because Doug has drained my gem supply giving me cash. I wish I had called sooner.
Hope this clears it up for everyone. I think one of the mods should post this to the home page so that everyone knows this is how the game works.
The support guy actually told me, "This is what makes the game challenging."
No, not knowing how the game works is what makes it challenging, and so very frustraing at the same time.
Yes, thanks for that 4-1-1 very important. I would give you rep for this info, but I already did and I must spread it around first.
so Thanks a million for that, because I just thought well okay maybe my gems werent so good and is why i didn't get my floor i was supposed to get...
..but its really because i was dropped souwn a level and he still took two gems from me
I didn't know you actually got bumped down a level for not having the gems. (I am so glad the Kinzville Academy doesn't work that way!) I think I'll continue tracking Doug, but he will just have to stand there until I have hordes and hordes of gems.
I have to agree thats really stupid. Because in the last 3 days for 6 accounts i have gotten 1 gem fom arte. So lets do the math here. If Arte is not giving gems then how are we supposed to collect them to give them to Doug. Wow is this a big screw up from ganz or am I the only one this is happenning to. Today so far I only did 3 accounts and only 1 gem to show for. Whos to say what I wont get with the other 3 accounts.
