I have to disagree with you Bert as saying that carrots have the best yield rate. I harvested my carrots and out of 19 plants I got $296 in cash. I harvested my strawberries which at times would give me 5 per plant (even though it said up to 4) and got back $544 in cash with 29 plants. The carrots average out at 15.57 per carrot verses strawberries which average out at 18.76 per strawberry. Strawberries will give you more cash and yield then carrots in the long run. I also know that you will have to wait two days longer to harvest.
Well, that comparison was only of days when you had harvests. The strawberries do harvest 25% more per plot, but it also takes 25% longer to get a harvest for strawberries (as you noted in your post).
So, actually, strawberries and carrots work out to the exact same yield rate when the longer harvest time for the strawberries is figured.
We are getting too technical here in something that is supposed to be fun and profitable. If you like growing strawberries -- that's fine.
But, I prefer carrots because they give much more hunger points (+4) than strawberries (only +1). My pets always eat some of the veggies -- no use in buying other food when you have Farm Fresh.
Your point well taken Bert. Since I don't use mine to feed my ebkinz there is no need for me to change. But I found it is easier, quicker and more time efficient to just bath and or let them take a swim to increase health points. Just something for you to think about Bert.

Yeah, we keep our pets healthy and happy, too, by just jumping on a trampoline or treadmill for a few seconds each day. It is so easy to do as they are passing through a room.
So, those traits are usually already at 100% and the extra health and happiness points that the Farm Fresh veggies provide do get wasted.
Just a quick question, Snow*Berry -- I call my big field of carrots the "Wabbit Patch". Is yours "Strawberry Fields Forever"?
since you dont have to keep buying seed packet and the replenish on there own...you will definately have profit if you maintain the garden well..save them in your dock till you want to cash in BIG! like money in savings, lol

Strawberry Fields Forever the song recorded by the Beatles in the Sixties. Sounds nice Bert, I will have to give it some thought. Right now it is just a garden.
ell... if I were you I ould keep some to feed my pets and sell some to because you pay more for food to feed your pets... ell that is my idea! add me to your friends list I am buttersotch32
Not really kinzgrl. Example I just fed my ebkinz a Vegetable Stir Fry which cost $15 to make. It gave me 14 in hunger points. According to Bert you get 4 hunger points for every carrot. So it would take 4 carrots in order to reach 14 and be over by 2 for a total of 16 hunger points. If you would sell the carrots you would get $32 in Kinzs cash. Use $15 to make the Stir Fry and pocket the $17 profit on it. If you do it your way and feed them 4 carrots then you will lose out on the $17 profit. I know you would still have to buy another thing to make up for the 2 point hunger difference but at the most you can get a food item on sale for about 3 to 5 kinzs dollars this would still leave you with $12 to $14 dollars in kinz cash. I hope this gives you a better understanding.

Everything you said in your post is correct, Snow*Berry (I did edit some out above). Glad you liked my 'Strawberry Fields Forever' joke -- that was too easy.
If you are just looking at filling up your pet's tummy, there are things better than Farm Fresh veggies. Vegetable Stir Fry recipe is very good -- so are Slotty Fruit or Banattle Dome.
By the way, what makes Vegetable Stir Fry so filling is the White Rice ingredient -- 7 hunger points for just $5. It's the most filling food in Webkinz land and so cheap!
Farm Fresh veggies do provide several times more health and happiness points than the Veg Stir Fry, however. 4 of those carrots would beat Veg Stir Fry by +10 health and +6 happiness. So if they need those traits boosted, go ahead and feed them to your pets.
