You can read the current tutorials now. Not ALL tutorials are uploaded
This takes me A LOT of work to make and I have tons to do. You MAY post now.
So, many of us wonder how to make certain animations.
A lot of us already can, but I have noticed certain members have their troubles and can't do certain things like, the exploding firework, multiple fading hearts, blends, rain, certain 3D text, make brushes, download brushes, ect. A lot of us use websites instead of programs because they don't know which programs to download and don't know anyone to help them use it. Others don't know how to make certain things and they choose to stay simple and easy. But truth is, with a little practice, some of the 'harder' things can be an easy breeze.
IF SOMETHING SAYS NOT UPLOADED BY IT IT MEANS THAT IT WILL BE PUT UP SOON ONCE THE TUTORIAL HAS BEEN FINISHED

*crop/scale image to appropriate size
*right click over image an click duplicate layer
Repeat until you have 3 of the same layers
*Go to Layer, New Layer and check white.
*make 2 more white layers now
*Reorder layers so the first one is the background image
and every other layer is white. The last layer should be white.
*Select one of the WHITE layers in the layer dock
*Now go to Filters, Noise, RGB Noise
*Uncheck independent RGB Then click OK
*Repeat this step with the other white layers
*Now Select one of the white layers again then got to Filters, Blur, Motion Blur
Edit the angle and the length a bit. Repeat this step except make the length different on each white layer.
*Now select top white layer. Go to Layer mode and select Grain Extract.
Repeat this with other white layers.
*Now adjust the opacity to your liking. Set opacity to the same for EVERY white layer
*Now Merge the white layers down. Select the top white layer, right click,
merge down. Select second white layer, right click, merge down.
Select bottom white layer, right click, merge down.
*Go to Filters, animation, playback. You can view what you have made.
*Save as .GIF and click save as animation (not merge layers down)
*Duplicate Layer (background image)
*Go to view and zoom in to 400%
*Now create pixel dot using the pencil tool that is the smallest of the basic
circle GIMP brushes.
*Now duplicate layer and add two more dots on each end of that dot.
*Repeat step above until heart is finished.
*Now for the fill-in, just do the dot (with the same brush)
thing and create one row of color. Then duplicate layer repeat.
*File>>New>>Advanced Options>> Background, Transparent
*Now create what you would want the brush to look like and use the colors you would like
I will be making a green pixel heart brush:
*When your done crop it and go to save as.
*Save as a .GIH instead of a .PNG or .GIF as you would usually
*Close GIMP and open the folder you saved it in.
*Then open in another dock, My computer
*In my computer click Local Disk C, Programs Files, GIMP
*Then click share, GIMP, 2.0, brushes.
*Drag the brush file into the GIMP brushes folder
You done! The next time you use GIMP your brush shall be there.
How to Download a Brush
Intermediate (must know how to download fonts to be able to do this)
*Go to a brush downloading website such as qbrushes.net (my favorite)
*find a brush you like then download it (like you would as a font)
*Make sure you extract the file
*Open another dock, My Computer
*Go to Local Disk C, Program Files, GIMP
*Now go to share, GIMP, 2.0, brushes
*Drag the brush file into the brushes folder
Your done [:
