Neat guide! VERY helpful. ;]
I have a question for braids though....
I usually have my mother french braid my hair, and I kind of feel like I should do it - it's my hair, right?
So, I guess I just wanted to know how to do any of those braids by yourself...is it easy?
(I also don't have any younger/older sisters to practice it on..)

Well, learning to do braids on yourself takes some practice, but is possible. I'd reccomend practicing on a doll at first, or a friend, some sort of practice so you know how the braid goes.
Horizontal braids are much simpler in my opinion, and a simple french braid is doable as well. Lace braiding is the simplest- you can do it into the hair, or on the edge (like this: Lace Braid into Soft Ponytails | Teen Hairstyles | Hairstyles, Braids and Hair Style Ideas | Cute Girls Hairstyles)
It just takes practice, really. On the bright side it will build arm and upper body strength XD

Thank you so much! I have learned how to do [almost] all of the braided hairstyles you have up on my own head! Reppity-rep-rep!
