Hello and welcome to Maddy's Gimp Guide! I know what you're thinking.
Another guide, Maddy? Really? The answer to that is; yes, I have made
yet another guide. I give credit to Skylar, who inspired me to make this.
Yay, Skylar! Her awesome guide can be found by clicking.......... here!
Image File Names In Gimp
There's a lot of ways to save your image, so make sure you know all!
JPG: This is usually for non-animated, plain graphics, like stock avatars.
JPEG: This is kind of like JPG, I guess, but better for transparency!
PNG: I always use this because it restores quality and is great for banners.
GIF: This is for stuff with animation - if not used, there won't be any!
XCF: I never really use this, but it's for saving things to be fixed later.
These are my favorite websites for graphic-making!
Weheartit.com - For images
Flickr.com - For images
Photobucket.com - For textures
Google.com - For textures
Dafont.com - For fonts
