Default {GUIDE} Getting The Top Poster List To Work {GUIDE}

***TO MAKE THE PICTURES BIGGER, PLEASE CLICK ON THEM. THEN CLICK THE BACK BUTTON TO GET BACK TO THIS THREAD***

First of all, let's make sure everyone knows what a Top Poster list is. It is a link that shows how many time each perseon posted on that thread. For example, this is where you would click to get that Top Poster link:

Click the image to open in full size.

See where the number is circled? That's where you click.

Now, most of the time, I see people mention how they are not able to get the Top Poster link working, because it comes up with an error that looks somewhat like this:

Click the image to open in full size.

There is a fix to getting the Top Poster link to work, that isn't difficult at all...Once that page comes up, in your address bar, there will be a section of letters that mean a certain section. Here's a picture:

Click the image to open in full size.

This picture was taken in the Open Mike section, but let's say I was in the General Webkinz Discussion area...On the picture I took above, you had to delete "f164", but in the General Webkinz Discussion area, there would be a different number in that position that you would have to delete.

You will have to copy the link shown, because I don't think it will let you edit the address bar once you've clicked the Top Poster link area. After you copy it, paste it into a different window, and then delete that area. After you delete that number, then click enter.

And there you go, you've got the Top Poster link working!
