Default [SOLVED] HOme before Dark ~Guide~Please post more ideas

A couple of things I've learned about this new game:
the only way to get enough Webkinz home is to have a path reach more than one house (preferably at least 3)
every square that is blue (is attached to the path that goes from the park to the houses) will get points and then drop off the board
the party house seems to be worth twice as many points as the regular house, so it's worth trying to have your path include it, but only if you can still get all the Webkinz home before dark. (So it's better to have a path to three homes that doesn't include the party house than to have a path that only goes to the party house.)
when the directions say that to get rid of obstacles, you need to have a path that "goes under" them, what they mean is that you want as many of the squares directly under the obstacle to be part of your path (i.e. yellow or orange before they connect, then blue when they're all connected). This is because of the observation above: that all blue squares will be removed from the board after your Webkinz cross the path. Then the obstacle will drop lower on the page (or off of it, if you used every square under it). Make sense?
so far, it seems far more important to make sure that all your Webkinz get across than that they go over the toys to get the extra points. Worry more about a path to lots of houses than whether the path crosses the toys.
even when you're down to only a few pets left that need to get home, it's still worth making a path to lots of houses. As many pets will cross as there are houses connected. So if you only have two Webkinz left that need to get home, but have a path to three houses, you'll have three pets go across and get points for all three of them.
