Default [♥..How To Make a Chain Clutch..♥]

So I just got finished making myself a clutch (like a purse, only smaller.) just for the fun of it, but I put chains on it, as well. Here is a quick little quide to help you guy's out if you'd like to make one.(:

You Will Need..

1. A small clutch (plain, can be found at craft store's such a Jo-ann Fabrics and Micheal's.)
2. An old necklace chain or regular chains (can also be found at Jo-ann Fabrics or Micheal's, but most likely Jo-ann's will have them.)
3. A small embillishment *optional
4. A safety pin
5. Fabric Glue *optional

Step one:

I suggest you start with the chains first. Open up the safety pin and attach it to the end of the chain, it'll probably be really long so keep hooking it onto the pin. You can do it like I did and make the loops different lengths if you'd like. Attach the pin onto the area you want on your clutch.

2. The chains are all done (easy, right?!) so this part is optional. If you have an embellishment (like a bow.) you can add it on by simply using fabric glue. Something you actually might have to sew on but for the most part you don't have to.

And here's how it should look.. (you can see I put the safety pin underneath the pocket so when its closed you can't see it.)

Hope you guys liked this!

Fabulous job! That looks really cool, plus, it'll look extra protected so pickpockets won't even try to open it. (or not. ) I have to try this sometime, I'll go look for an old necklace....rep for you!
