| | *How to* -turn off- Profile messages
Whenever you go on vacation or are unable to reach a computer, you usually put a message in your siggie, right? Well, what if someone doesn't see your siggie, and keep posting on your profile, wondering where you are? Then, when you get back, you have to explain that you were gone and clean up all the messages you lost.
Wouldn't you like to avoid that?
Well here's how.
To turn off your profile messaging, first thing you have to do is go to your user CP and click, edit options.
Then, you scroll down, about half way, to where it says 'Enable visitor messaging'.
Click the little check box if you want it, but if you don't, then click it again, and it will, er, 'Un-click'
Then, when people leave you a profile message, BAM, they just see your signature, so you could say 'Imma on vacation. Be back on sunday!' or whatever you want.
Well, there you have it. Peace.
