**How to Make the Phenomenon That are Blawks**GIMP Version
Those are Blawks. all made by me. no touchy.
Credit for Blawks goes to wikylo, the creator, for sharing his adorable squares with us. [:
If you have trouble with creating a blawk, hop on over to the blawk club HERE and one of our members can make one for you. [:
With Blawks, we are going to take over the universe of WI. LOL we want as many members as possible to have a blawk.
HOW TO MAKE A BLAWK first, you have to download gimp. gimp is safe and free, and you can get it HERE. i will be using gimp 2.6. then, open a template for the blawk you want. This is the human template; and the animal template; i will be using the animal template. after that, change the image to an RGB by selecting image>mode>RGB on the bar at the top. select your main color of your blawk by pressing windows>dockable dialogues> colors, and bucket fill your blawk by selecting tools>paint tools>bucket fill. to start drawing, select a color, and to select a brush, press windows>dockable dialogues>brushes. then do tools>paint tools>pencil. zoom in to 800%. drawing pixel by pixel makes it so much easier. i usually start with the muzzle, mouth, nose, et cetera, and any other markings the animal/person may have. like the dachshund has two brown marks on its forehead. i usually outline my marks with a lighter or darker color, and it makes it look more professional. when you've done that, you probably want to add ears, tails, paws, and such. to do this, go to layer>new layer> type in your dimensions (I usually do 50x50) >and select transparency. Press OK. then go to tools>transform tools>move and move your new layer to the desired spot with the arrow keys. select image>autocrop image, and then layer>merge down. now you can draw ears and paws! paws are normally just a little circle for me. following that, you go to tools>transform tools>crop and crop off whatever space you don't need. finally, to save, go to file>save as and save it as a gif. there will be a pop up. Click "export" then click "save" on the next pop up. upload it to tinypic and show the world your creation!
HAVE FUN exploring the world of blawks!
