Reluctantly, I am joining this club. I was so happy to discover Google Chrome solved some of my other WW issues, I can do all the academy classes and all the jobs Ms. Tabby offers with Chrome. But now my dock items are all cattywumpus. At first it was just one item, then a few, and now it is a mess. Going back to IE for a while. Sigh.
I noticed the items jumping off the dock problem start two updates back while playing on Firefox. It usually occurs only if I'm moving many items around (i.e. decorating a room or selling garden products). Best fix is to log out and back in. Occasionally it's helpfulness of moving my big stack of strawberries closer to the W-Shop's Resale Counter is greater than its annoyance factor, but not for long.
By moving other things around on the dock, I can move the "jumped" items back down, but the longer I put off reloading Webkinz, the more items glitch. Here's a pic of the most recent glitch on my account as of yesterday evening.
My daughter is still having this problem on her computer - a PC, running Chrome. I've never had it happen to me - Mac, with Safari. Her computer also has Firefox, so I'm going to suggest she try using that.
Webkinz is hardly a new site - you'd think they'd have a handle on browser compatibility issues by now.
hi i saw the topic about having items all over the page. we also have this issue with chrome. we were told by ganz that their website is not set up to be used with chrome. it's meant to be used in internet explorer, netscape, and i think they may have also said firefox. which makes no sense to me that they don't make their site run well on all browsers. just wanted to let you know what we were told. hope that helps.
This issue is more than two months old.
I use Firefox on my husband's computer, Google Chrome on mine and the laptop, and IE on all three. And guess what? It happens on all of them! I'd say to Ganz that it's more than just a Google Chrome problem. And it is GANZ' responsibility to make their program compatible with browsers, not mine by suggesting I use a different browser. I HAVE used different browsers.
If I actively using my dock, I run into problems. It appears to me that it is a dock programming error on GANZ' part. I say this with more vehemence because I also have problem with being logged out when I feed my pet food from my dock and when I move berries from my dock to the jars (both while in the game or in my room).
What is the deal? I am tired of this issue. Hire better bug fixers! We've spent enough on pets and eStore items to support them.
I'm using Firefox, and it's happening with one account and not the other. I switched from Chrome when it first broke 2 months ago. Firefox worked fine for me until some time last week, now it's b0rked, too.
But, you know, it does make the otherwise boring job of selling a mountain of carrots more exiting. I mean, where will the carrots be next? In the dock? On the shop? In an advertising? Find the carrots and win your farming cash!
