Unfortunately, it seems everybody has that same issue.
Kinda a bummer, because it's such a cool throne.
I guess you could try calling Ganz and seeing if they can do anything, but since all these other people have problems with it too, I'm not sure if they're trying to fix it or what.
But here's the link to the thread with everybody else talking about the problem: http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/...c-item-673922/
From time to time, I would go into the room where I had two Glistening Glacier Thrones and see if pets could sit on it and, throughout the year, they were not able to.
Today I tried again and .... lo and behold .... a pet CAN SIT ON THE THRONE .... sort of. Check out my screenshot.
Nice try, Ganz, but it still doesn't cut it. Go back to the drawing board and work on it some more.
mystic....... i had found this out just a little while back but never posted it in the glitch section. i just thought it was so funny that they could now sit IN the chair!!!! i hope they finally get this worked out so that lovely owl can sit RIGHTFULLY on it's throne!!!
LOL, the pet can sit IN the chair ... literally. I love it, Miss Spots, and so true.
You know, Ganz has programmed no less than several hundred different types of chairs in WW since April 2005 ..... how hard can this be ??
Actually, what it comes down to is that there is no Quality Control Department in the Webkinz Division of Ganz Corp. Somebody gets a memo from the Creative Director (or whoever) that says the Snowy Owl PSI is glitched and to fix it. The same person gets probably hundreds of memos throughout the year to fix stuff and the Snowy Owl PSI gets pushed further and further down the list. Finally one day, the person decides they're tired of looking at the memo about the Snowy Owl throne at the bottom of their Glitches Folder and decides to deal with it once and for all .... but not putting his/her 100% attention to the matter, the person doesn't fix the chair correctly and doesn't even bother to take a pet and sit the pet on the chair to see if whatever he/she did to the programming of the chair worked. The person sends a memo back to the CD (or whoever) and says it's fixed and that's the end of the matter for them.
For us, it's just another opportunity for us to roll our eyes at Ganz. Ganz needs it's technicians to try these "fixes" with actual WW accounts and not assume that whatever tweaking they did to the code in the throne's code would do the job.
When I adopted my Webkinz Snowy Owl, I tried to have him sit in the throne, but he sat "in" in not on it. So, I decided to ask Ganz to program it correctly using Customer Support (Customer Support---> Comments & Suggestions---> Our Question Does Not Appear Above---> Other) After a few weeks (today) Flurrious, my snowy owl, was able to sit in it! Here's a pic:
