Tried using IE 9 and clearing the cache and still no luck. This is the fourth browser I've switched to with Ganz. (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, IE) Giving it a little time and hoping it gets corrected but it seems every upgrade requires major changes for users computers! Too bad.
THanks, Amygirl8...clearing cache helped a lot...don't know why i never think to do that on my own till someone reminds me...i do notice that other websites seem to work seamlessly with upgrades i make to my web browsers or adobe flash player but ganz always needs an adjustment period or me to jump through extra hoops [like this new kinzpost button thing]...wonder why other website programmers can write robust programs and ganz is always just barely [if that] able to keep theirs functional...still wish they'd slow the forward motion of growth into new areas of the site just a bit till they get the older areas under better control...but that's just wishful thinking i guess...when their prevailing company philosophy seems to be one of zero responsibility...'let the buyer beware' and 'it must be your computer not our programming'...it'd be refreshing if they'd take some responsibility for the quality and usability of the product they are selling and making tons of money off us poor saps [otherwise known as customers...as in 'always right??!!'...not at ganz...they have so many they don't need us really they seem to feel]
As always when I am having a problem,I look on WI and find I am not alone. I have been trying to get on all of our sites and have no trouble logging on to them, but can only access daily activities and arcade and my room. I cannot access Kinzville Map or any activities so can't do chores or look in Arte's or PJ's. I'm probably missing some great things. Also, because of their "maintenance" last week and last night, we missed a day on Today's pets and therefore missed out two weeks in a row on one of our accounts getting the complete week and the surprise gift. This is so frustrating!!!!
I am having the same issue on my main account. I can get to the arcade through the "Things to do" menu but nothing else will load. I was able to get into the clubhouse and my room earlier but nothing tonight. However, my other account is having no issues whatsoever on the same computer and browser, which seems to indicate that these are not the problem. Perhaps the issue is with just one or two of their servers?
Actually, right after I posted that, I switched accounts again and found everything to be working normally! Hooray!
I've been having this exact same problem ever since the moment I've updated my Adobe Flash to the latest version 10.3.183.5 on my desktop computer yesterday night.
I think that may be the reason because I also have a laptop computer where I have not yet updated to the latest version of Flash, and I'm not having any problems accessing those areas with it.
Anybody else updated Adobe Flash just before the problems started?
Yes, I have had nothing but problems since I updated the Adobe Flash...I can't buy anything in the W shop or it freezes and have issues in the Magic Forrest too.....I did some of our accounts yesterday on a different computer and everything worked fine....that one didn't have the update so I'm also thinking maybe it's the Adobe Flash that's causing my problems.
It's so ridiculous. I go to MAZIN' Hamsters and click "My Hamsters" (I switch Hamsters every day). The button does nothing, so I click other buttons on the page and they do nothing as well. Finally I click the Log-Out button. The message appears: "Are you sure you want to log out of Webkinz World?" I click YES.......and nothing happens. In the end, I must close the window using the X button of my browser. This has been going on for TWO DAYS IN A ROW now. I'm tired of it and I hope they fix it soon.
