Our family HAD been getting the "you have won" pop only on IE 8.0 and while we were still using Windows XP pro. Once we got our new Windows 7 computer, NO browser would give us the "you have won" pop up.

I agree with you. It isn't even fun to play if you have NO idea what you won. But the link given to me upthread allows me FINALLY see the pop up window again. The only drawback is that is the ONLY thing any of our accounts can see.
Using that link, we can see the "you have won" pop up, but ads block everything else even with Adblock turned on.
It's annoying to work around, but at least the link given to me upthread allows us to use the link to see what each family account won, then log out and go back to the regular log in so ads aren't blocking everything else on WW.
I do so wish all glitches could and would be fixed so users don't have to jump through hoops just for what should be simple things.

Although this may not make a difference, do you know if your computer is 32 or 64-bit?
My laptop is 64-bit, which usually means it can handle more, and faster.
I really hope you can solve your problem.
EDIT: Oops, sorry. I just saw that you solved the problem.
Thanks. Only halfway solved the problem, but half is better than nothing.

And yes, Windows 7 is a 64 bit operating system no matter whether you use a laptop or desktop (which we have). It's annoying that these problems are left up to users to try to work around.
Guess that will always be the way things are with Ganz, though.
