wow. i'm speechless. this is some thread! i'm sorry i didn't get a chance to call ganz but now i see they're going to fix everybody's chocolates properly next week, so that's a good thing.

since i'm one of the people who had their chocolates ripped off, i will send the form letter email to ganz tonight - i still have the form letter they sent me - and then i guess we see if enough people will do the same and see if we can change ganz's mind.

i am also going to use the avatar you made mysticzon because i know there are ganz employees who read wi to draw attention to this. i don't believe that they aren't allowed to read this site .... and even if there was a shred of truth to that statement, it's not like they can't go home and read it.

i guess all that's left to say now is POWER TO THE PEOPLE

I understand your reluctance in calling Ganz .... heck, I speak English as my first language and the Reps have a hard time understanding me (so maybe it's THEM and not us ) but if you have the opportunity, ask about your other missing chocolates and mention this thread and mention someone you know from this thread had her chocolates returned as a "courtesy" (more of a "shut up and go away" gesture than a courtesy if you ask me) and maybe, just maybe, you can get your missing chocolates back. This is consistent for EVERYONE who has emailed you to get their "coupon" chocolates changed to an "object". Please do NOT use your tool to replace chocolates for anyone else until this situation is remedied. It also appears that chocolates go missing if you call and have them swapped out for the object on 2 or more accounts.

This is what needs to happen:
1. Stop using the tool to swap chocolates until the tool is fixed
2. Go back & review EVERY email and place the box of chocolates on EVERY account that said they had chocolates, but which your tool inadvertently deleted. If they said they had 5 chocolates on the "disappearing chocolates" account, then give them 5. If they did not say how many chocolates they had, then you are going to have to either contact them to find out, or you will have to give them the "average" which appears to be around 3 boxes of chocolates per account.
3. Send emails back to the people and tell them of the glitch & remedy of the glitch (blame it on Nafaria if you have to--that is what usually happens).
4. Make a statement on Webkinz Newz of what is happening. We NEED an update! (We have already heard from @webkinz on twitter February 11th: "Hi @___________ . You may notice a change to the heart shaped chocolate prize soon. #Webkinz Pets can't eat, send or trade it ATM.") [name of twitter account purposely taken out for privacy]

p.s. Hopefully, you have already concluded all that I have written and are working on a solution. I am anxiously awaiting a reply from you as to what is being done and when my chocolates that were MIA will be returned to me.

I have two boxes of AP Chocolates and I can't feed them to my pet, put them in my room, trade them, wear them or sell them to the W Shop! I am wondering what I can do with them?

I now have 2 Purple Pixie Pod Seeds in my inventory and have the same problem with them. Help! what are these prizes for? What is their purpose?

Please respond, anyone, if you know the answer to this riddle!!

This is great Zebultux !! Thanks very much. I would have made a signature too, but because I wasn't going to change mine, I didn't do it. I'm not going to change my signature because it sums up everything that is wrong with WW !!

Ganz plans on implementing a WW-wide fix during next Wednesday's maintenance (February 29th) which will correct the glitch and move the chocolates from the Coupons section of your dock to the correct Objects section.

Don't know about the pixie pod seeds so I can't help you there.

I saw Mystic's original post on the 20th and went and checked all my accounts and counted how many chocolates I had in the coupon section 5 accounts had them , one account had one the rest had three. I emailed them at webkinzsupport@ganz.com at 1:00 am, by 3:00pm the next day I checked and all the accounts now had the Factory box of chocolates in the appropriate section in the dock and each account had the right amount

also I finished a valentine quest on tuesday of this week and can confirm that if you dig up any now they do go in the objects section,

Mystic and all WI, -Wonderful job on organizing all this Great information

I also emailed Ganz on Tuesday, Feb. 21 about the chocolate boxes on my three accounts. I did not have any go missing, but asked that they be moved to the Objects category before they disappeared.

Here is the response I received today:

Thank you for your inquiry. You reported that you received a Box of Chocolates as a dig prize from the Adventure Park. This Box of Chocolates you received contained an error that does not allow it to be placed in your account. We have rectified the error on our end and you will be able to use this item after our next maintenance update. The update is scheduled for February 29th, 2012.

If you are still experiencing an error with this item after February 29th, please contact Customer Service so we can further investigate the issue.

So it looks like Ganz has finally figured out how to replace the glitched Box of Chocolates with the correct Factory Box of Chocolates such that none go missing, but you can't do anything with them until next Wednesday's maintenance. That's the way I'm interpreting it as well. I checked all three of my accounts and the boxes of chocolates are still in the Coupons & Coins section.

WAIT !! Based on your last post, I have figured out the ambiguity contained in the form letter you received from Ganz.

What Ganz is saying is that they acknowledge there is an error with the glitched Box of Chocolates, they will rectify the issue during next Wednesday's maintenance and if you still have a problem with them after the maintenance, THEN call them and they will further investigate the issue.

So as it stands now, your glitched chocolates are exactly that ~ still glitched because they are still in the Coupons and Coins section of your dock. They DIDN'T replace them with the correct Factory Box of Chocolates YET. After next Wednesday's maintenance, you should be able to place them in a room, kinzpost them, sell them and trade them.
