Canonymous...I felt the same way and thus first contacted Webberlily, moderator in this area. It was Webberlily's request that resulted in me putting this up as a glitch. Just thought I should let you know in case it makes a difference

Question Re: eStore Glitch - renewing deluxe membership

If I renew in March, but my deluxe membership expires on April 2, is the system smart enough to know that I already have the March gift and start the new deluxe membership on April 2? Or will this change my deluxe membership expiration to March?

No it will not start it in April...it will start it now.

According to the email I received it said this....

If you would like to renew your Deluxe Membership to continue receiving benefits, please purchase another Membership term through Ganz eStore when the current Deluxe Membership expires.

Note: Deluxe Memberships do not run consecutively if multiple purchases are made.


So, if you ask me, they want you to wait until your current membership expires, however, if you do, then if you have not adopted pets on your account in that year, it will be expired and you will not be able to have deluxe on it because it is expired...you will be forced to adopt a pet and then apply deluxe. That is why I decided to do it early. Basically it will mean that I will probably get 5 new March Deluxe boxes....but at least I save the extra pet adoption....or at least I thought I would...

Here's another:

If I wait until mine expires in order to renew again, does anyone know what will happen to all the clothes I have on my pets in the deluxe options? Will they be returned to the dock or will it glitch and will the clothes disappear completely?


(It is so dumb that they can't do it consecutively. JMO)

If the clothes are on your pet in a deluxe option, and then the deluxe option goes away, is their programming smart enough to put these items back in the dock? With their reputation for glitches, and with as many outfits I have on my pets, I don't know if I would want to risk letting my deluxe membership expire. I don't trust that they programmed it right. I was wondering if anyone knew for sure. Maybe, someone who had a deluxe membership for less than a year and then let it expire would be able to tell us. I have too many pets to go through to take all those clothes off! LOL! I will probably renew at the end of March and just get another March gift for my accounts. (If there is a glitch with the clothes you have in your deluxe options, I don't think that customer service would be able to give you your clothes back--it's just the way they have been working lately--"too bad, so sad!"--and then they state part of the user agreement to you.)
