For all these problems they should just give the kids the red coin and the prize. How disappointing for the children & frustrating for the adults that have to do these things

According to an announcement by Ganz which the Insider posted, (Thanks, Insider!) the red jelly coin will be awarded by script on Monday. What is a script? Also, it's Monday and after three attempts of clicking on the leprechaun, I still don't have the red coin. What's a Webkinz to do?!

called ganz (US 1-866-932-5469) took several hours to get through. we have 5 accts in our house. only 1 got the red coin + fountain. they took acct info - we had days-times-rm-phn color - and said they were awarding the coin and fountain. i asked about the "script" fix... she said they were going to be fixing everyone else through a programming script. i hope this will be done because it was a crazy webkinz weekend with 3 contests running at once.

still no red coin and fountain for me. I hope it is fixed soon as it has now been 2 days of a waste of my time!

I posted this in another thread, but I'll repeat it here.

I just got off the phone with them and here's what the rep said:

They are aware that there are two separate problems: all 6 coins but no fountain and inability to get the red coin at all.

The fix for those with all 6 coins is the easier one, because the program can just check the coin collector and award the fountain if it is full. Everone in that situation should have their fountain by the end of the day.

It will take more time to correct the error for those of us who never got the red coin first, because they have to verify that we tried for the 6th coin and got the [untitled item] error message. She said that's a more complicated programming fix and will take a bit longer. But she said we definitely SHOULD find the Leprechaun and click on him to get the error message, because that's what will be used to determine if the fountain will be awarded.

I hope this helps....she was able to go into all our accounts, check that we had each tried for the 6th coin and awarded the fountains. But for those who can't call, a fix is coming, it may just take awhile.

I appreciate the info.
I have to say though that it is ridiculous that they want any of us to have to call or e-mail them. It was THEIR glitch. They should fix it.

The worst part in all of this is the differing information being given everytime someone calls. I was never told to go in and physically try to collect the red coin on all accounts....nothing like making sure we all do what we are supposed to do. Things always go from bad to worse.
