Default Adobe flash player crashing? :/

It seems sometimes whenever I'm in Google Chrome or Firefox (Mostly Firefox) My screen loses webkinz and instead shows an error message saying "Oops, Adobe Flash player has crashed." It's annoying, I have to X out, and re-login. I always update it, and my computer is perfectly fine. Could it be Webkinz? I really don't know.

Anyone else, or is it my computer?

Default Re: Adobe flash player crashing? :/

It's the flash player, most likely. There is a way to adjust the settings so that flash will allow webkinz longer to load, but I cannot think of what to do. Dang, I guess this wasn't a very helpful post. Let me see if I can find what to do.

Ok, I found what I was trying to tell you about.

BEWARE!!! Doing anything here will be adjusting the settings of your browser &/or computer.

These instructions are from the mozilla website and can be found here:
The Adobe Flash plugin has crashed | Troubleshooting | Firefox Support
Go down to the part that says disable hang protection, try the stuff they suggest. it worked for me.

Disabling hang protection did not work for me. I did that a long time ago and I still get crashes. Give it a try though.

This started happening to me about 2 weeks ago. UP until then, we had never experienced the Flash app crashing. It doesn't seem to be connected to any specific game or activity, - just suddenly goes green with the Flash failure message and the little frowning face.

The problem has been isolated to only the Webkinz website and trying the fix that is listed in the previous thread didn't fix anything. Also, uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Flash didn't fix the problem either, so I'm guessing it is a programming error or something on Webkinz.

It has happened to more than you think! .. many many WW players I know have experienced the FF/Flash Player crash .. it started happening to me a week or two ago.. and there is no pattern ..
It has crashed several times and each time, I was in WW in different areas doing different activities.. ie. hamsters, in my room, jumping room, etc. ..
