LOL!
I don't know if "Issues" will be spending any time at Dr Quacks cause I can't play with her when my bys are around. They will demand more webkinz to try and catch up to me.

My Basset Hound I named Baskerville from "The Hounds of Baskerville". That's really the only creative name I have come up with.

Mine don't really have names with "meanings", but they all follow a theme. They are all named after important Medieval figures (kings etc)

Saladin (Tree Frog) - Named after Salah al-Din, who recaptured Jerusalem from the Crusaders
Mehmed (lil'kinz Tree Frog) - named after Mehmed II, who conquered Constantinople
Clovis (lil'kinz Lion) - named after the Frankish king Clovis I, who united all the Frankish tribes under one ruler.

I name my pets a lot the same way, either relating to me or the pet:

Lionel - Tree Frog - Adopted after I had just seen the movie "Because I said so" with the lil boy lionel.

Telir Safari - Leopard - Purchased for me as a suprise by my bff, ShoBean94. This is my nickname for her. (We knew each other wanted the leopard, so i bought it for her, on the SAME DAY she bought it for me! LOL)

California -White Terrier - After the Webkinz Great Shortage *finally found* on vacation in California.

Kiddo - Grey and White Cat - Dad always calles us "Kiddies" or "Kiddos". This sweet cat was just begging to be named this.

Barbie - Poodle - Poodles are high and prissy, just like this prissy pet.

Kiki - Koala - Just needed to be named KiKi. I have ALWAYS loved that name, and NEEEDED to use it on that pet. lol

Gorilla - stranger - After watching King Kong, I realized everyone was steryotipical of the gorilla and very prejudice. He was like a stranger to them.

Panda - Sushi - I always get the countries in Asia mixed up.

Spotted Frog - Freckles - He just looked like he needed a dose of Judy Blume's Freckle Juice.

Unicorn - SugarPlum - Well, this was valej's idea. She just looked fantasylike for us. Lol

Alley Cat - Tabby - my grandma bought this for me, and she loves the name Tabby. I wanted to name her Seattle or Calico, but grandmas win! LOL

Mimi Paris - We're good friends with a french woman Mimi from Paris...and cant decide between the two. LOL

Yorkie - Puddin - Like yorkshire pudding!

Persian Cat - Doinkey - I used to have a persian cat named Doinkey. I was heartbroken when she unforuntately passed away.

Lucy and Ricky - Black Lab and Chocolate Lab - I had to have twins! I love Lucy was my mom's idea. I love it!

Husky - Killington - I am a SKIER. I have been skiing since Im 2 and am a championship freestyleteam skier on the East Coast. This is my FIRST and FAVORITE ski mtn!

Pegasus - thunder - again with the grandma thing. I love this name!

Beagle - Jennifer - Dad's childhood beagle dog was named Jennifer

Um some of ours were just cute names or the 3 year old named them (hence the Koala named Koali lol) but lets see, the ones with meanings are:

Rajah the Tiger means from India, princely title

Suresh the Elephant is for a character on Heroes

Shadow the Golden Retriever is after the GR in Homeward Bound...one of my kids fave movies

PeeWee the b&w cat is named after my first cat I ever owned when I was little

Fernando the Tree Frog is because I love that song

Nacho the Chihuahua is named after my husbands nickname in Spanish class in high school

Bogart the Pug is after Bo Bice on AI (Bucky coming soon lol)

Doogie the Google is after Doogie Houser

Ari the Lion - my husbands grandfather passed away a week before our littlest son was born and we wanted to give Zach a middle name starting with his gg's first initial. His nursery was Lion King and Ari means Lion (as well as being his dad's name backward) so we went with it. we still used Cole though as well.

Default Re: Webkinz - meaning behind the name?

Most of my Webkinz have names of pets that someone in my family has had at one time or another. But my last adoption was a koala so I was trying to think of something Austrailian.
I then thought of Steve Irwin, what a great animal protector. I wanted the koala to be a girl so I named her Bindy. I plan on naming a kangaroo Steve-O someday, I'll also use Terri, Sue-E, Graham and Crikey.
