Default Are Webkinz Getting More Expensive?

Okay, so I went into this store called Lincon Stationary, and they had like a GAJILLION Webkinz. They had like 20 of each, doesn't matter how old or new, they had it. I only went there to buy trading cards and they charged me 6$. I'm not sure if that's cheap or expensive, but it sounded expensive to me. Anyways, when I told my friends I got the trading cards, they asked me where I got them since they couldnt find them ( this was the time when they just came out) so I told them I found them. My friend said that she went to buy a Webkinz there once and the charged her 20$. I really couldn't believe it! Because the dance school that me and my friend go to has a little gift shop and they sell Webkinz too, and they only charge you 11$. Has any one seen any othe expensive prices?

This one store, World of nuts charges 4.00 for a trading card pack, and 40 for a pegasus. Then at morning glory, THey charge 2.00 for trading card pack (that was the one I got the best stuff from, I usually get kinzcash or food or coupons) and 11.99 for a pegasus. But my mom won't let me get the clydesdale at world of nuts because of that!

The webkinz have gone up some. I used to be able to buy them for $10 for the Webkinz and $7.50 for the L'il Kinz. Now my last store to hold out on prices has gone up to $12 for Webkinz and $9.99 for L'il Kinz. All of the Hallmarks have gone up to $12.99. Everyone says Ganz is going up. I guess it comes along with the territory of having something that is popular. Now stores do have more, so hopefully as they become overrun with them, the prices may go down. I would never spend $20 for a webkinz though.

I use to pay $12.99 in Toronto Canada for a Webkinz last week when I bought my Chocolate Lab it was 14.99 plus tax. I think the owners know its a real trend now and will keep ******* the price up for awhile .
