Any dog can be sweet and well-tempered, and any dog can be nasty. Not every poodle out there is a little sweetie pup. What the dog's personality really depends on is its owner. If the owner abuses their dog, they usually become very agressive with food, toys, and generally their property, and are fearful of humans because they think all other humans are like their owner: mean and cruel.

Because of these cruel owners, some dogs are just so agressive and fearful that they have to be put down. Don't assume that all "bully breeds" are mean, terrible mosters that should be wiped off the face of the earth. I personally know a few Rotties, and they are some of the sweetest and most friendly dogs I know.

Just my two cents there.

Rotties can be GREAT dogs!! my dad's friend has 5 Rotties and the worse they can do to you is jump on you and lick you to death. They are such gentle giants.

Remember: Punish the DEED, NOT the BREED.
