Default This may seem like an odd question

How would you get silly putty of the paw of your cheeky monkey? Someone (we're still not sure who) got silly putty stuck to his paw. And my cheeky monkey is less than two weeks old! He's been sitting in the freezer in a plastic bag for two days, and I got half the silly putty off. But there's still a big clump of silly putty stuck on his paw, and I don't want to rip it off, in case that makes it so there's still a small layer left, that I can't get off. I know you can't put webkinz in the washing machine, so how would I get it off? Should I just rip the remaining silly putty off, and then wash his paw with soap and water, and hope it all comes off?

Anyone who has experience with something like this, please help! Thanks for your time.

The freezer trick should work. I would throw the monkey in the frezer without the bag, use a butter kinfe and scrape it off. I would think adding water to it would make it worse. You may have to scrape some, put back in freezer, scrape.

It would work better without the bag? I'll go try that, and take him out in a few hours, and use a butter knife. Thanks!

I have never put anything in a bag, just threw the shirt (in our case) in there.

there is a product sold in grocery stores and such call goo-be-gone, or something like that.Small bottle, yellow liquid, a few bucks. It completely breaks down the stickiness of stuff and sorta disolves it off fur, velver, hair, plush rental car seats, priceless quilts, etc. Maybe ask at a hardware store. I was a teacher and it was great for gum and silly putty mishaps. I always had it with me. I swear by this product. It saved a irreplacable quilt stuck with silly putty , got gum off the plush seat of an expensive rental car, and silly putty out of my waist length hair

It is a odd question, lol. Try Go B Gone. Or...run it under hot water.

We have Goo Be Gone. Doesn't it stain clothing/cloth though? My brother spilled it all over himself and his clothes were ruined.

I'd try the freezer first, like Cow mentioned. Good luck.
