first of all:welcome to webkinz world!

second: i think you should have one big account so your kids learn to share with other kids when they play with their friends at school and at home. also, it will be easier to maintain what they do on that one account and you wont hve your kids fighting about when its their turn to go on webkinz. they will have lots of fun together and they could take turns doing al the daily things. ( gem hunt, widhing well, wheel of wow, etc.) hope you and your kids enjoy webkinz!!!! (and i hope this advice was hepful).

I'm thinking 2 acounts, one for the 8 year old, and the 6 &4 year olds can share.

WWWWWWOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!! I have never posted into a forum and gotten such a great response. I have read everyone's posting and the consensus is definitely between 2 and 4 accounts. I think I will stick with 3 separate accounts and try to keep up with all of them.

Seriously, thank you all for taking the time and sharing your experiences.

(By the way, #5 is on its way. I had to buy the Husky off Ebay because we couldn't find it anywhere.)

I would definitely give the 6 year old his/her own account. We all have our own accounts (kids 6,4,and 2 1/2, plus me). The 6yo has the passwords to his brother's and sister's accounts so he can "drive" for them, but I occasionally have to change the passwords if he's caught spending their money on expensive stuff for himself.

The kids will get older and more capable and you can't split the accounts later... that was my thinking.

I am the keeper of the trading card stuff -- then I allocate the prizes.

Please, do separate accounts. They are good for making extra money, and getting extra Holiday gifts etc.....

It will also prevent jealousy between your kid's. You, and the family can do certain things together, or the older one can help out the younger ones. I know my friend helps her little ones make money, so they can buy what they want. There are also older syblings, that help out the younger ones.
