Here's Iorek posing next to the new Trophy:
Badges: wkwcollecter collected two badges - Jam Master Badge and Jam Lightning Badge as shown here:
Taglines: monkeecj received this Tagline Notification:
And Kayfookey received this Tagline:
How to Play:
Our friend Inukshuk from the Polar Plunge Game needs to collect all the Berries on each Level. Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate around. You can climb the ladders, and drop down each floor and land safely. While falling you can use your Left and Right Arrow Keys to navigate.
Pick up a snowball on the way - use the spacebar to throw it at the Yeti to stun them, and you can walk through them. You can only hold one snowball, and once you release it, you can collect another. Unused snowballs are not carried on to the next level.
Walk on the snow bank to drop it to the next floor and so on. If a Yeti is directly underneath it or on it, it will drop to stun it. This stun time is longer than the snowball stun.
If you walk on the ice, it will crack it, so next time a Yeti steps on it, they will be stuck for a bit. But be careful, because you will also get stuck (sometimes this could be a strategy).
There's a hanging bucket of snow which is activated by a special lever. Once activated, this bucket of snow can penetrate all the way down vertically. And this is a powerful stun time. Berry Count on each Level -> see WIki Thank you to wkwcollecter for the Trophy Win Screenshot: And for this screenshot of the subsequent win/no Trophy image: Last edited by commodore; 02-09-2010 at 03:20 PM.. Thank you to MarianHM for sharing his discovery on "trapping" the Yeti which makes them disappear. (see Post #13 of this thread for the full images).
This can only achieved on levels with snow banks. In this example he demonstrates how to trap them on Level 3. There are snow banks on Levels: 2, 3, 7, 12, 13 - so this technique can be applied on those levels.
To do this, lure them one by one, or together. When a Yeti is standing on or underneath one of the snow banks - you walk through the snow bank to release it and it will drop to the next floor, which may take the Yeti with it. Repeat until the snow bank and Yetis on it are on the bottom floor. Here, three Yetis are trapped on the snow bank.
This image is of the bottom floor with two Yetis - walk through and one or two Yetis will disappear.
This image shows one Yeti left, while the other disappeared. The final Yeti/s should disappear when it jumps off the end of the floor.
Bingo! Three Yetis have disappeared. I tried it and the Yetis didn't disappear - they stayed on the bottom line. I wonder if it is a OS and Browser thing? I use Mac - what about you? | | | 12-19-2009, 09:50 PM | #10 | Gift Guru Join Date: Jul 2007 Posts: 12,321 | Re: Guide to Polarberry Jam Thanks for the pictures - I have added to the first post.
