I was going along, using my scramble appropriately. Not getting caught up with too many red boxes.
Then suddenly I was at about level 10 or so. And no red boxes in sight! and loads of vowels everywhere.
Soon I was whistling and playing around. Spelling ridiculiously long words like "cuddles", "silliest" and supprisingly enough......"clergy". It was awesome!!
I was getting purple squares, and racking up the points! Imagining where I was going to put my trophy. The Museum? Perhaps a new Trophy room in honor of my trophy?
I was on level 13 when I ran into a bit of trouble. Nothing to get upset about. Just needed to shuffle. Made it through 13 but went into level 14 with Three red squares midway down.
I axed two of the squared with a supreme word that took them both out. "paddler". When to my horror, I noticed that the word knocked out the three letters under a red square and placed it on the bottom.
I sat there in disbelief. It was a red D. surrounded by an O another O an A an H and another O. I can go on but you get the picture.
I sat for an hour trying to make up words like Odah, Ahoo, Dooh and the like.
I finally looked over and saw the word "bye" in the corner right. I typed it and sat there while the beavers swirled around.
I learned a huge lesson.
#1 I am learning to dislike beavers...NO not really LOL
#2 It is never over until it is over.
#3 Never give up.
I can still taste the EB trophy on my tongue. Yes it is disappointing to lose when you are so close. but imagine how it will feel when you finally do get your trophy!
