Why is they "cracked tile" always a consonant and ALWAYS never around vowels! SERIOUSLY!!!!

I feel your pain. It took awhile for me to get the hang of the game. But now that I've won a trophy on my account, and the accounts of 3 family members, I'm an ace at it. Keep playing, you WILL get better!!!!!

A piece of advice. If the cracked tile is near the top of the board, and you really can't see a way to get rid of it, consider shuffling the tiles. You will end up with more cracked tiles, but you may be able to get rid of them easily.

Also, see if smashing the tile beneath the cracked one will help. If you get a word elsewhere on the board, the cracked tile will smash through the tile below it, and sometimes you can then use the cracked tile easily.

The cracked tiles usually appear in the higher levels when you demean yourself by using three letter words. Try to use four or five letter words, and the chances of getting a cracked tile seem to be less.

That's okay, last night I got kicked out of WW during Level 12!!! I was so mad! Even better, when I first played it I didn't know you could get a trophy after 15 levels. It kicked my fanny at Level 14! Same problem, too many consonants! I find that some of the same letters keep coming down to form the same words during a particular game, like last night letters that formed the words 'felt' came up so many times, but that's all it would give me!

Yeah, I've gotten too many consonants or vowels. One of the worst was when I had a cluster of the letter U. I think I scrambled then.

I also hate having the letter U near a Qu tile.

Sometimes you don't have a choice and you HAVE to scramble. Personally, I use that as a last resort because as you know, you get more red squares.
I got a trophy(ahem, with some help from the DH) when it first was introduced, but I can't get to level 15 now to save my life!!?!?!?
