Do you loose or win first

Here's my issue, I am on level 13 and have a cracked tile on the bottom, but I have a word that will complete the waterslide thingy, what goes first? the cracked tile or the word?
note - this applies when getting the trophy

I'm not sure, but if you can make a word with the tile, I suggest you do so, because you'll get other chances that aren't so risky to beat the level.
